Buffy - Season 01
- 1 - E12 - Prophecy Girl (this is the perfect end of the season, I love how the episode ends with all of them on the library, including Jenny and Cordelia, setting the tone and the gang for the next season)
- 2 - E07 - Angel (I'm as sad as the Master with the death of our dear Darla)
- 3 - E01 - Welcome to the Hellmouth
- 4 - E06 - The Pack (as the p.e. teacher would say, this episode is brutal)
- 5 - E03 - Witch (I love this episode, but I have to admit that the chronology doesn't quite add up. but the last scene is one of my favorites ever, the little eyes moving)
- 6 - E11 - Out of Mind, Out of Sight
- 7 - E09 - The Puppet Show
- 8 - E08 - I Robot, you Jane (who would have guessed that people today would be making the conscious decision to marry bots? I know who, our boy Fritz)
- 9 - E10 - Nightmares
- 10 - E02 - The Harvest (negative: Xander starts showing his toxic-teen-boy-vibes / positive: Giles starts being a dad)
- 11 - E04 - Teacher's Pet (I like the episode a lot actually, that fact that it is in 11th shows how much I like the other episodes)
- 12 - E05 - Never Kill a Boy on the first date (I hate Owen and I hate the Anointed One)
I know some people hate season one but I can't lie, I enjoy it quite a lot. It's silly, yes, but I think it's charming. I also love the hard cut at the end of the episodes, there is a very specific type of humor that only appears in the first season that I appreciate a lot.
Favorite monsters/monsters of the week of the season:
- 01 - The Master, I'm not an idiot
- 02 - Darla of course
- 03 - Sid (well Child's Play is one of my favorite movies, so it makes sense)
Least favorite:
- The Anointed One
- Owen (technically not a monster but I really dislike him)
